On April Fools’ Day in 1998, Burger King published a full-page advertisement in USA Today announcing a Whopper specially designed for left-handed people. The new burger would have the same ingredients as the original but would be rotated 180 degrees. Thousands of customers flocked to Burger King restaurants to request the “lefty” Whopper.
